IGC 2028 First Circular

We are pleased to announce that the First Circular for the 38th International Geological Congress, IGC 2028, is available to read now.

In it, you will find more information about the conference, organisation, venue, as well as more information about Calgary, the host city, and Canada.

We also invite your participation in the planning of the Program by submitting a proposal in either the Call for Sessions, Workshops and Short Courses, or the Call for Field Excursions. If you have any questions, please email igc2028-program@globalplanning.ca.

The closing of the sessions submission period will be in March 2027, in order for the final program structure to be ready for the Call for Abstracts, set to take place in June 2027.
