The Manitoba Geological Survey (MGS) conducts a wide range of geoscience investigations, which include the examination of exposed and buried bedrock, subsurface materials, and surficial sediments throughout Manitoba, as well as provides geoscience support for the regulatory framework and tenure systems managed by Manitoba Government department of Business, Mining, Trade and Job Creation.
